Two timed systems sit outside the rod ladder: roaming merchants every 30 minutes, and a Spirit once an hour.
Merchants
The Maoshan Merchant and the Taoist Merchant spawn every 30 minutes on any island except Beginning Isle, stay 10 minutes, and it is a coin flip which one appears. Expect about an hour of real time per specific merchant.
| Merchant | Good | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Maoshan | Maoshan Rod, 105 Power and 25 Luck | 300M Cash |
| Maoshan | Maoshan Orb | 200M Cash |
| Maoshan | River Suppression | 200M Cash |
| Taoist | Apex Eagle Hunt | 200M Cash |
| Taoist | Taoist Orb | 100M Cash |
Buying every listed good once is 700M Cash. Bank before you hunt them. None of these goods has another published seller.
Spirits
The chat line Something has appeared in the world… means a Spirit spawned. It happens once an hour, lasts 10 minutes, and can be on Bamboo Isle, Frost Isle, or Amber Isle. There is no map marker.
Each interaction costs 50M Cash and has a listed 20% success rate. The Cash is spent on a failure too. Success prints that the player has been Blessed by the Spirit.
You need one Blessing from each of the three islands. Two Blessings on the same island do not count as two. The reward is a skill whose name is left blank on the stat board. This page does not guess the name.
At a 20% success rate, the average is five attempts, or 250M Cash, per Blessing, and about 750M Cash for three Blessings on three islands. That is an average from the listed rate, not a cap, and a dry streak costs more.
Set your spawn on one of the three islands before the announcement so the 10-minute window is not spent sailing from Beginning Isle.
